Georgine Internship
During my time in New York City, I had the opportunity to work with GEORGINE as a Marketing Intern, gaining hands on experience in fashion marketing, event planning, and brand development. This experience allowed me to bring my creativity and marketing education into a real world setting while learning from industry professionals.
During my marketing internship with GEORGINE, a New York based luxury women’s ready to wear label founded by designer Georgine Ratelband, I gained hands-on experience in marketing, event planning, and fashion. Working directly alongside the brand allowed me to see how creativity, brand identity, and strategy come together to create meaningful experiences and connect with customers. Helping her market her new collection with the Knicks!
One of my highlights was assisting with the planning and execution of an Alice in Wonderland themed event for Girls Just Want to Have Funds. Working alongside experienced event professionals gave me valuable insight into the coordination, creativity, and attention to detail required to produce a successful event. I also supported GEORGINE by helping showcase and sell the collection, allowing me to apply concepts from my marketing degree in a real world setting.
I was also honored to contribute to GEORGINE’s collaboration with the New York Knicks, with the exclusive collection being sold at Madison Square Garden. Being part of a project that brought together fashion, sports, and New York culture was an incredible experience. This internship strengthened my passion for marketing, event planning, and the fashion industry while giving me the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to an exciting New York based brand.
